WHAT GOT ME HOOK ON THIS PRODUCT
The mini version caught my eye while I wait for my turn to make payment at the Sephora store. When I dispensed the product on my skin, I could instantly see a great difference in my skin tone. The creamy texture made it effortless to blend. The CC Cream was buildable, and my pigmentation was 80% concealed. I was thrilled! Who would have thought the IT Cosmetics CC Cream was as good as the other Chanel, YSL foundations that I have in my makeup kit. On causal days, all I need to do is apply a sheer bit of the CC Cream together with a bit of concealer on my dark circles, and I am good to go! My skin is taken care of, in a short time - say 5 mins. Perfect for Makeup artists especially when waking up early for wedding assignments is a regular affair. Oh, did I also mention that the CC Cream brightens my skin tone, and made it look flawless from morning to evening. In my honest opinion, it does what it claims. I am glad I found something that works for me and my clients.
LESS IS MORE
Makeup artists love products that are all-in-one (well, I do!). Think of all the cosmetics launches - moisturiser, sunscreen, primer, concealer, colour-correctors, foundations, etc, and you wonder why Makeup artists lug around a huge suitcase. Here to save my day - the IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC+ Cream comprises all the skin-nourishing ingredients, formulated like a cosmetic multivitamin - all packed into one product. Intelligent, and amazing! I can’t wait to use the IT Cosmetics CC Cream on my clients.
HOW I USE IT
I love foundations that come with a pump dispenser - great for hygiene purposes and make it a breeze to dispense the product. For a smooth application, I use a makeup sponge (or beauty blender) to pat the product into my skin. The coverage is buildable which means you can decide how much coverage you prefer on that day - whether it is less foundation on a sunny day out at the beach or a matte look for a romantic dinner with your partner.
- If you have oily skin - skip the moisturiser, use a toner, a primer, and a setting spray
- If you have normal skin - go straight into the product after your toner, and light moisturiser
- If you prefer a dewy finish, choose the other range - Illumination
